Welcome to GeoPins! This website shows my collection of geographical and tourist pins, i.e., lapel pins (or badges) which represent the flags, coats of arms, symbols, monuments or tourist attractions of different countries, regions, cities or villages.

Everything started quite a few years ago, when my parents brought me a pin from Liechtenstein. From then on, I tried to combine this hobby with another of my great passions, which is travelling, and thus I enlarged my collection with pins I bought while travelling. My relatives and friends, knowing my hobby, also brought me a lot of pins from many different places. In these last years, I have also been able to contact other collectors through the Internet, and this has helped me to enlarge my collection through different exchanges. Some institutions have also been so kind to donate pins from their area of influence.

My collection consists at the moment of around 1300-1500 pins. Although I make the effort to get new pins, I don't have enough time to arrange and count them. Nevertheless, I'll try to improve my web page progressively, trying to include individual pictures of the pins and group them by countries,... In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the web page!
